BOA Bank of Africa, Tanzania is part of the Bank of Africa Group, which operates through a network of commercial banks in 18 countries.  Headquartered in Dakar, Senegal the Bank is majority owned by BMCE Bank, the second largest private bank in Morocco.  The Bank began operations in Tanzania in June 2007 and has a network of 27 branches; 14 in Dar es Salaam and 13 upcountry. The Bank of Africa provides the Company with credit support for utility scale solar projects and cash management.

Strategic Advisors:  Energy 4 Impact

advisor-energy4impact Energy 4 Impact, is a UK-registered non-profit organization that supports businesses that provide energy access to off-grid communities. They are specialists in private sector participation in off-grid energy access and have been commissioned by the International Finance Corporation under the Transactional Advisory Services Facility (TASF) program to provide advisory services to mini-grid developers to strengthen operating models, increase commercial viability and, ultimately bankability. Ruaha Energy has entered into an engagement with Energy 4 Impact under the TASF program to assist the company with developing its business model for the Company’s off-grid portfolio of projects.

Strategic Advisors: REPP

 The Renewable Energy Performance Platform (“REPP”) was developed by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to deliver the UN SE4All objectives in Sub-Saharan Africa.  The program is managed by Camco Clean Energy and Greenstream.  REEP has entered into a support agreement with the Company to provide a facility to partially fund support for the technical, environmental, and financial structuring efforts required to develop a portfolio of four standalone one megawatt grid connected solar photovoltaic facilities in the Kilosa District.
